About Tosca

I'm not a politician. I'm your neighbor.

I'm a Pine Island resident, a homeowner, and a concerned member of the community. I'm passionate about preserving my small town dream. Running for City Council isn't a career move — it's a way to give back to the town I love and to support and protect the community I care about.

My story

How I got here

I moved to Pine Island in September 2020 and rented my house until I could buy it in March 2021. I engaged my neighbors in conversation and soon after getting to know each other, we watched each others' pets, children, supported each other during hard times, and hosted joint garage sales. I worked for two different businesses in Pine Island. I made friends in this town and embraced its small town charm. I enjoy living in a small town and want to keep it that way. My husband's family lives here and we enjoy the family oriented atmosphere of this town.

I've come to know several business owners in the community and frequently solicit the local small businesses. I adore Cheesefest and all the local events that bring Pine Island character and historical value.

That's why I'm running. I may not have all of the answers, but I'm happy to do the work to find them. I may not know everything this town needs but I'm willing to find out. This community deserves the best representation possible and I'm happy to be the person who can provide that.

What I believe

The things I won't compromise on

Community over politics

I don't care about party lines. I care about what actually helps the people who live here. I'll work with anyone — left, right, or center — if it means getting something done for our neighborhood.

Honesty, even when it's uncomfortable

I'd rather tell you something you don't want to hear than make a promise I can't keep. If I don't know the answer, I'll say so. If I make a mistake, I'll own it.

Showing up, every time

I will be present and accountable to the residents of Pine Island. Their concerns are my concerns.
