What I'm running on
Residents first.
Our community deserves a voice, transparency, and a vote in all city matters and decisions. Our town deserves better!
Safe Neighborhoods
We should all feel at home on our own streets.
Safety is about knowing your neighbors, having well-lit streets, and trusting that someone's paying attention. In our unique community, word-of-mouth is a very quick and efficient mode of communication for us. I will ensure our residents continue to be informed on crime statistics, neighborhood and town-wide safety concerns, and that our town continues to be the safe family oriented place we all know and treasure.
- Engage residents at town events
- Improve street lighting in underserved areas
- Provide opportunities for community connection
- Increase transparency in public safety reporting
Residents First
We deserve a say in all city decisions.
Army Values I have embodied my whole military and civilian careers are Honor and Integrity. As a 16 year Army Veteran, I know that operating with honor and integrity at a bare minimum, is what we should expect from our city government. I will work diligently to represent our residents' interests and provide transparency in all aspects of our town's council decisions.
- Actively engage residents to accurately represent our interests
- Keep our community informed and involved on matters that affect our town as a whole
- Fight for transparency regarding all potential city council decisions
- Support residents, homeowners, and small businesses
Community Events
These events are the heart and historical tradition of our town.
In the early 20th century, there were between 30 to 43 small cheese factories operating in Pine Island. The town became known as "The Cheese Capital of the World". Celebrating Cheesefest the first weekend of June has been a time honored tradition for 90 years! It's important that we preserve our town's traditions and make the most out of all of our community events.
- Make funds available for Cheesefest and community events
- Attend and participate in major town events
- Support strong event planning committees
- Preserve Pine Island's traditions
Local Small Businesses
Local businesses are essential to the town. They need our support to be successful.
If you've ever had ice cream with your family at Tribute, had cupcakes made by One Tasty Treat, or admired the artwork adorning the Nicole Mills Photography building off of Main Street, you have experienced the genuine small town charm of Pine Island. Let's preserve all these small businesses that beautifully embody our small town values.
- Put small businesses front and center
- Engage small businesses owners and foster participation in town events
- Encourage shopping local
- Facilitate and promote opportunities for small business owners to connect
How I work
I do things a little differently
I listen before I act
Before I take a position on anything, I want to hear from the people it affects most. I will make myself available to the residents and respond promptly to their concerns.
I keep it open
You deserve to know how your tax dollars are being spent. I'll push for open budgets and make sure public records are easy to access — not buried in bureaucracy.
I hold myself accountable
I'll publish regular updates on what I've done and what I haven't yet. If I fall short, you'll hear it from me first — not from someone else.
Want to talk about any of this?
I love a good conversation about what matters to our community. Come to a town hall, send me a note, or just stop me on the street.
